Mindfulness, Meditation and Prayer Retreat
April 28, 29, and 30th, 2023 St. Mary’s Retreat Center Sewanee Tennessee
Join us for a quiet weekend of guided meditations, journaling, and practicing spiritual principles, centered around the 12 Steps. The retreat is open to anyone practicing a 12-Step Recovery program and takes place in a safe environment where you can go deeper into your relationship with your higher power. Look at your deep-seated resentments and fears, explore your delusions and see the truth behind them, Fellowship with like-minded people, and indulge in a weekend of serenity and peace from your self-talking mind.
Accommodations
There are two types of accommodations on the property. All accommodations include Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast.
Saint Mary’s Hall, has private rooms that can be reserved as singles or doubles. There is a Men’s Wing and a Women’s Wing. These rooms do not have a private bathroom in the room. The bathrooms are shared same-sex bathrooms down the hall, Dormitory style. Very fun style for a retreat.
Shared Bathrooms Single $437 per person.
Shared Bathrooms Double $385 per person.
Anna House has 20 hotel-style rooms that can accommodate one or two people and have private bathrooms in the room.
Private bathrooms Single $585 per person.
Private bathrooms Double $459 per person.
Optional Thursday night with Friday Breakfast for an optional decompression day at $175 per person. Allow yourself to relax in a beautiful quiet setting with an optional mindfulness hike along scenic rivers. (2.5 mile moderately challenging hike, mostly flat although the footing can be challenging with roots and rocks on the trail).

Sewanee
Sewanee is 1 hour and 45 minutes outside of Nashville. You are responsible for your own transportation. Transportation from Nashville to the retreat is available at approximately $100 round trip.

Terms + Payment
Full payment must be by March 15, 2023.
A full refund will be given for any cancellation before March 28, 2023, less a $100 administration fee.
A full refund will be given if it is a Covid-related shutdown.
There are 40 places in total and a waiting list will be started if we are over-subscribed.
This retreat is an opportunity to get off the grid - cell phones, tablets and laptops need to be left in the room. We will provide an emergency number for loved ones to use if they need to reach you immediately. We are asking that all rooms are either all male or all female if sharing a room.
